A technology platform supporting the development of Hefei's digital economy -- the first of its kind in the capital city of East China's Anhui province -- was officially launched at a news conference in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on Jan 28.
The platform was established for helping to solve difficulties that local medium and small-sized sci-tech enterprises encounter in developing technologies and to promote the innovative expansion of the local digital economy.
The platform includes a shared service platform -- a data applications security testing service platform, two joint innovation laboratories -- as well as a software quality and testing technology laboratory and an intelligent manufacturing information security laboratory. It will also work to boost recruitment and training, as well as connect to local enterprises in the digital economy.
Reports are that it can provide services -- including testing tool sharing, big data system benchmark tests, source code security testing, information security risk assessments and information security risk reinforcements --- as well as performance scenario simulations and technical guarantees for special products.
At the news conference, nearly 30 companies indicated their intention to join the platform and six enterprises signed agreements.
A consultation group of six experts from leading universities, research institutes and companies was formed at the news conference. Officials said it will help provide solutions for the technical problems of local digital economy enterprises.
