Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has been included in the list of the first 10 national high-tech zones selected to establish a financial service center supporting high-tech enterprises.

The list was released by the Torch High-tech Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, who will support building the centers. The move marked the first step in the Torch Center's special campaign to improve financial services to support scientific and technological innovation in China.

The branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone will provide financial services to selected high-tech enterprises.

To meet the financial needs of enterprises, Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has implemented a slew of measures that include establishing a data sharing lab as well as providing innovative financial products and discount interest funds.

The zone has also established a one-stop financial supermarket online to connect financial institutions and enterprises. The supermarket has so far featured 24 products and assisted over 850 businesses with their financial needs.
