Tencent Maker Space (Hefei), a business incubator located in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, celebrated its fourth anniversary on May 30.
Since it opened on May 29, 2018, the incubator has served nearly 200 entrepreneurial projects with a total valuation of over 600 million yuan ($89.71 million), according to Huang Li, a Tencent Maker Space (Hefei) manager.
Huang also noted that Tencent Maker Space (Hefei) has incubated a number of outstanding enterprises including 14 national high-tech enterprises, one specialized and sophisticated enterprise that produces new and unique products, and seven high-growth enterprises.
The incubator will further upgrade incubation services and help enterprises gain access to Tencent's vast ecosystem, Huang said.
Tencent Maker Space (Hefei) is committed to incubating small and medium-sized science and technology businesses. It offers marketing, entrepreneurship training, and other incubation services by leveraging Tencent's resources.
It has been honored titles such as a National Maker Space and an Anhui Youth Entrepreneurship Park, and has been awarded many times by Hefei city and Anhui province for its contributions to bolstering innovation and entrepreneurship.
