The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, or Hefei high-tech zone – located in Hefei city, capital of East China's Anhui province – has become one of the most dynamic and attractive innovation and entrepreneurship areas in the country.
It's done so by rolling out various measures such as recruitment activities, school-local cooperation and innovative talent introduction mechanisms.

In terms of college graduate employment, the zone has focused on their needs and implemented measures such as deepening cooperation with universities and organizing jobs fairs.
By utilizing new technologies like big data, it has explored an integrated internet and recruiting model and improved its employment services system.
This has led to the creation of 37,900 new jobs in the first half of this year, contributing to the formation of a high-quality workforce and talent reserves in the zone.
What's more, the zone has also taken steps to ensure the supply of personnel to resident businesses. By organizing key enterprises to recruit from universities and surveying the employment needs of college students, it has matched the demand and supply of jobs.
Additionally, new recruitment methods – such as live online broadcasts and factory tours – have been adopted to bridge the employment gap.
Moving forwards, plans are in motion for the Hefei high-tech zone to establish a "talent strong zone" and enhance its innovation system.
It aims to promote more precise job search and employment plans, monitor employment and unemployment dynamics and facilitate talent introductions and exchanges.

one is home to over 90,000 companies, including 49 national "little giant" companies – those specialized in niche industries with cutting-edge technologies and great growth potential – as well as 2,548 high-tech players and 38 listed business entities.
The zone has been holding jobs fairs, visiting universities nationwide and organizing internships this year to attract future applications from college candidates.
Furthermore, employers based there have extended their recruitment to the student internship front, to strengthen the reserves of new graduates.
For example, the zone attracted some 436 professionals with master's degrees or doctorates at its first software industry internship fair at the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research, University of Science and Technology of China or USTC in May.
In all, over 30 universities – including the USTC and the Anhui University of Technology – have signed cooperation agreements with the Hefei high-tech zone.
Moving forwards, plans are in motion for the zone to improvise its hiring process, optimize talent exchange networks and provide services to both businesses and job candidates.
