April 2018 - Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone was included in the list of world-class high-tech parks by the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, enabling it to enter the national team participating in global technology competitions.

Feb 2019 - Tianchichuang, a maker space in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, was ratified as a Hefei national offshore innovation and entrepreneurship base for overseas talents, according to the Hefei Association for Science and Technology.

June 2019 - China Speech Valley was ratified as an A-level entrepreneurial base by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Anhui Province.

July 2019 - Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone was included in a list of scientific and technological resources-sponsored innovation and entrepreneurship centers unveiled by the Ministry of Finance.

July 2019 - China Speech Valley was added to the 2019 National Demonstration Projects of New Information Consumption list.

January 2020- Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone ranked sixth among all 169 national high-tech zones in 2019, the highest ranking in its history.

April 2020 - Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone was ratified as a national digital service export center by the Ministry of Commerce.

May 2020 - Efforts by the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in 2019 were recognized by the General Office of the State Council on May 8.

July 2020 - A total of 28 inventions from Anhui province won Outstanding Chinese Patented Invention and Industrial Design medals at the 21st WIPO-CNIPA Awards. Eight of these inventions belong to the Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone.

November 2020 - Three people from units in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone received the highest national honor for workers during a gathering at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Nov 24.
