The 2024 Hefei International Innovation Summit, also doubling as the opening ceremony of Plug and Play China (Grand Union of Innovation) Innovation Center, took place in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, Anhui province, on Friday. 

The event was jointly hosted by the innovation platform Plug and Play China, the innovation incubator Grand Union of Innovation, and the zone's management committee.

The summit featured a series of events, including presentations by academicians, project roadshows, and cross-border enterprise roundtable discussions. Outstanding innovative projects from around the world were showcased, demonstrating the charm and potential of technological innovation.

The new center represents the 52nd global hub and the fifth industrial innovation center in China for Plug and Play China. This center aims to empower enterprises by integrating innovation services, including innovation incubation acceleration, scenario innovation matchmaking, technological innovation investment, and overseas market expansion. Additionally, it will further promote the development of Hefei's technological innovation ecosystem, serving as a platform for global technological innovation enterprises to showcase their capabilities and exchange ideas.
