Hefei high-tech zone revs up high-quality employment

The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has vigorously implemented pro-employment initiatives since this year, leveraging its advantages in scientific innovation and industrial development to promote top-notch job opportunities. By the end of May, nearly 11,000 urban jobs had sprung up within the zone.

As the graduation season approaches, the zone recently organized a recruitment group from China Speech Valley and Quantum Center, delved into enterprise needs, forged ties with universities, and formulated talent recruitment plans. Through various channels like WeChat public account, the recruitment campaign has attracted over 200 enterprises and institutions including the Institute of Advanced Technology and the Institute of Artificial Intelligence from University of Science and Technology of China, as well as Sun Create Electronics. More than 2,000 positions were offered.

The zone actively organized enterprises to distribute recruitment notices in universities nationwide. In March, the zone held recruitment events in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University, and Wuhan University of Technology, offering 1,200 job opportunities from 28 companies.

Currently, the zone has gathered more than 2,500 enterprises in emerging and future sectors, such as AI, integrated circuit, bio-pharmaceuticals, quantum technology, and aerospace. From January to May this year, the zone provided more than 15,000 positions.
