Hefei high-tech zone shines at 7th CIIE

A number of enterprises and institutions from the Hefei National High-tech Industrial Development Zone participated in the seventh China International Import Expo (CIIE) held in Shanghai on Nov. 5-10.

iFlyteck dual-screen translator, the latest generation of iFlytek's AI device, supports real time translation between 85 languages around the world. Besides daily communication, it also shows excellent performance in professional fields like medicine and law.
This year is the 7th consecutive year that iFlytek has taken part in the expo, which also presented its smart voice recorder and other C-end products, showing the new quality productive forces of Hefei high-tech zone.

Easpeed Technology Co. located in the Hefei high-tech zone is a unicorn company in the metaverse and a national-level enterprise that uses specialized and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products. It participated in this year's CIIE with its new products using interactive holographic imaging technology.
As a pioneer of holographic imaging and its applications, the company's products are widely used in various areas, including exhibition, intelligent vehicle, and medicine and healthcare. The company has obtained patent authorization for its products in the U.S., the E.U., Japan, South Korea, and other countries, and has exported its products to France, Singapore, Malaysia, and many other countries and regions across the world.
Adhering to the principles of openness, cooperation, and sharing, the Hefei high-tech zone has in recent years upgraded its international collaboration and developed an open economy featuring high-quality development. In the first half of 2024, 166 foreign trade companies were registered in the zone, contributing to an import and export volume of $84.19 million.
In the first nine months of this year, the zone received $154 million foreign direct investment, increasing by $117 million year on year. Fourteen new foreign-funded projects have been signed since the beginning of this year with a total investment of $1 billion.
In recent years, the zone has made great efforts to attract foreign investment. Since 2023, it has organized 21 delegations to visit enterprises and institutions in the Middle East and Africa.
Looking forward, the zone will continue to stimulate its innovative vitality and foster more high-tech enterprises to promote Chinese modernization in the region.
