The zone has carried out small watershed management projects in recent years, improving the area's soil and water conservation capacity. Leveraging the intelligent scheduling center, the zone has promoted a comprehensive approach to integrated protection and systematic governance of mountain, water, forest, farmland, grassland, and desert ecosystems. This philosophy has been introduced to local youths through science outreach events. So far, three such events have been held, drawing over 60 participants.
