In November 2024, Sungrow Power officially put into operation the largest single intelligent manufacturing center for hydrogen production equipment in China. Utilizing high technologies such as industrial Internet of Things, 5G, and virtual simulation, the center is equipped with key parts automatic processing production lines and electrolytic cell robot assembly lines, which greatly improved the company's production efficiency. Its electrolytic cell capacity is expected to increase to 3GW, and its annual output value is estimated to reach 3 billion yuan (US$409 million).
Recently, the Hefei high-tech zone has vigorously pushed forward the industrial transformation for traditional manufacturing. More than 60 enterprises in the zone have completed transformation and upgrading, improving their space use and low-carbon efficiency.
In addition, the zone also innovated its financial products to support 40 companies in obtaining 320 million yuan of financing, and helped them to move toward intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing, and service-oriented manufacturing. The zone is now home to over 200 provincial and municipal smart factories and digital workshops, and added four state-level green factories in 2023.
Driven by leading enterprises and demonstration projects, Anhui's national-, provincial- and municipal-level green factory cultivation mechanisms have taken shape. The province has also set up a green manufacturing system consisted of green factories, green parks, and green supply chains, which continuously promote the application of new products, new technologies, and new materials in the areas of energy conservation and environmental protection.
