iFlytek, China's leading artificial intelligence (AI) company, unveiled the first foundation model trained on a national computing power platform and equipped with deep thinking and reasoning capabilities on Jan. 15.
Developed by the country's two AI giants, iFlytek and Huawei, the iFlytek Spark X1 can achieve top-tier results with less computing power, and approach problem-solving in a manner more akin to human "slow thinking." Currently, its Chinese mathematics computing capabilities rank first in the country, and has been widely applied in areas such as education and medical care.
The company also introduced its multilingual simultaneous interpretation system -- Spark Trans, the first of its kind in China. Test results showed that the system, relying on iFlytek's core technologies, takes the lead in content integrity, information accuracy, and language quality.
In addition, the firm improved the core capabilities of its latest version of AI model -- iFlytek Spark 4.0 Turbo -- in mathematical abilities, text generation, and knowledge Q&A, among others.
The model has been used in many sectors including finance, oil and gas , iron and steel, and aviation.
