Baidu launched a voice-based music search service Monday, Sina reported. The company said the new feature will enhance its current music search, which is based on voice recognition technology. Users sing for at least 10 seconds, allowing the search service to identify the melody and provide the search results of potential songs.

Britain's tabloid Sun newspaper Monday launched its own celebrity perfume, Reuters reported. Buzz, marketed as the "essence of pure entertainment" was created in collaboration with parfumier Roja Dove, who said he wanted to achieve a mix of the style of TV's Sarah-Jessica Parker, the charisma of film siren Sophia Loren, the intoxicating sass of actor/singer Beyonce Knowles, and the girl-next-door charm of Cheryl Cole. Dove said that what he loves about the perfume is its universal appeal to princesses and paupers looking for that Hollywood red carpet feeling.

A 70-centimeter-tall Colombian has been named the world's shortest living man by Guinness World Records, the BBC reported. Edward Nino Hernandez, 24, weighs 10 kilograms and has not grown since he was 2, his mother said. Hernandez left school in the eighth grade and now earns some money dancing at department stores. Although he liked the attention, he said there were some drawbacks. "It bothers me that people are always touching me and picking me up." The previous record holder was He Pingping of China, who was 4 centimeters taller and died in March – before Hernandez was discovered.
