An American woman has been arrested for refusing to stop talking on her phone while traveling on a train's quiet carriage, UK's Metro reports.

Lakeysha Beard was speaking loudly on her mobile phone for 16 hours on the journey between Oakland, Calif., and Portland, Ore., ignoring passengers' complaints.

Beard is then said to have been involved in a "verbal altercation," resulting in train workers calling police to come and remove her. She has now been charged with disorderly conduct.

Beard said she felt "disrespected" by the incident. She admitted to talking on her phone, but saw no reason why she should have been escorted from the train.

女子车厢煲电话粥被捕

       英国《都市报》消息，一名美国女子在乘列车旅行时因拒绝停止煲电话粥而被捕。

       拉喀莎·布尔德在从加州的奥克兰到俄勒冈州的波特兰的途中打了16个小时的电话，完全不顾其他乘客的投诉。

       之后据称布尔德与其他乘客发生语言冲突，导致乘务员叫来警察把她带走。她以扰乱公共秩序罪被起诉。

       布尔德说她觉得她在这个事件中受到了羞辱。她承认一直在打电话，但觉得没有理由因为这个把她请下车。
