Hehe Culture Global Forum
Hehe is part of the essence of traditional Chinese culture and an important concept that promotes world peace and development. Over the past two decades, the Taizhou municipal government has been committed to the international communication of Hehe Culture by holding an international forum on Tiantai Mountains Hehe Culture every two years.
The 2021 Hehe Culture Global Forum (HCGF) was held both online and offline in Tiantai County, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, on December 9. The theme of this forum was Hehe Culture and the Building of a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity, with three parallel sessions: Promoting Harmony and Common Prosperity to Realize Inclusive Development; Overcoming Difficulties in Solidarity for Win-Win Cooperation; Pursuing Common Development in Harmony to Build an Eco-friendly Civilization. The forum was initiated by the China International Communications Group (CICG), the Information Office of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and the Taizhou Municipal People's Government, and its organizers were the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS), the Information Office of the Taizhou Municipal People's Government, the CICG Center for International Cultural Communication, and the Tiantai County People's Government. Around 150 guests, including Chinese and foreign political figures, foreign envoys in China, representatives of international organizations, overseas Sinologists, as well as experts and scholars of think tanks, colleges and universities, and research institutes were invited to the forum. Events in the forum included award ceremonies of "International Communications and Cooperation Base of Chinese Culture," and "International Center of Hehe Culture," the inauguration ceremony of "the Tiantai Mountains Hehe Culture Foundation," and the promotion of the multilingual book series of "Keywords to Understand China" and the research book series of "Tiantai Mountains Hehe Culture."
The HCGF is an institutionalized international conference organized as a forum. From the perspective of traditional Hehe Culture, it aims to promote the concept of "building a global community with a shared future" to become a broad consensus and global discourse for the international community to address global issues. Since 2021, it has become a permanent mechanism based on the Tiantai Mountains. This is of great significance for telling stories about Hehe Culture and promoting Chinese culture to the world.
和合文化全球论坛
和合是中华优秀传统文化的精髓之一，是促进世界和平与发展的重要理念。近20年来，台州市各届政府高度重视天台山和合文化国际传播，每两年举办一次天台山和合文化国际论坛。
2021年12月9日，“2021和合文化全球论坛”以线上线下相结合的方式在浙江省台州市天台县举行。论坛以“和合文化与人类命运共同体”为主题，设置了“坚持和睦共荣，实现包容发展”“坚持和衷共济，实现合作共赢”“坚持和谐共生，实现生态文明”三个分议题。论坛由中国外文局、浙江省人民政府新闻办公室、台州市人民政府主办，当代中国与世界研究院、台州市人民政府新闻办公室、中国外文局文化传播中心、天台县人民政府承办。来自中、日、韩、法等十几个国家的政要人士、国际组织代表、外国驻华使节、国际汉学家，以及有关智库、高校、研究机构的专家学者等约150人参与研讨。论坛期间，还同步举办了“中华文化国际传播合作基地”授牌仪式、“和合文化海外驿站”授牌仪式以及“天台山和合文化基金会”揭牌仪式，并开展了《中国关键词》多文种系列图书和“天台山和合文化”研究丛书推广发布活动。
“和合文化全球论坛”是以论坛为组织形式的机制化国际性会议，旨在通过结合传统和合文化的认知视角，推动构建人类命运共同体理念成为国际社会应对全球性挑战的广泛共识和世界话语。从2021年开始，“和合文化全球论坛”成为一种常设的组织形式，落地天台山，这对于讲好和合文化故事，推动中华文化走向世界具有重要的意义。
