Torrential rain has swollen the local Qujiang River, a tributary of the Jialing River that feeds the Yangtze, China's longest waterway. More than 600,000 people were evacuated in Dazhou and Guang'an cities ahead of what was expected to be the worst flood since records began in 1847. [Xinhua/Deng Liangkui]
