Activists protest against corruption in Kashmir

An independent legislator along with his dozens of activists demonstrated against favouritism and corruption in the region on Tuesday. Indian-controlled Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah summoned school education minister of the region following a publication of a news report alleging minister resorted to "unfair means" to help his son pass the secondary school (10th class) exam, an official spokesman said Tuesday.
