President Vladimir Putin waves to press during a ceremony to dedicate the "Victory Monument" in Netanya, north Israel, on June 25, 2012. Russian President Vladimir Putin began visiting Israel Monday. Before his travelling to Jerusalem to meet Israeli politicians, he stopped in Israeli coastal city Netanya to visit a monument honoring the soldiers of the old Soviet Union's red army that fought against Germany in World War II.
