Workers install wooden components for the ship imitating the vessel Zheng He navigated to the west some 600 years ago in the relics site park of his vessels' plant in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, July 3, 2012. The wooden replica ship was built following the size of Zheng's vessel. Construction workers used traditional technics and installed advanced scientific and technologic equipments for the archaized vessel. It is expected to be launched into the water in 2014. From 1405 to 1433 of the Ming Dynasty, Zheng He made seven voyages to more than 30 countries and regions in Asia and Africa, traveling more than 100,000 km. (Xinhua/Sun Can)
