The southwestern district of Fangshan was the hardest hit when the 20-hour storm hit Beijing on Saturday. There were two landslides in the district. Beijing Red Cross 999 Emergency Response team was sent to Fangshan to rescue people trapped by the floods and help care for the evacuated people.
