Rescue operation carried out for Guizhou's coal mine flooding

Photo taken on Sept. 12, 2012 shows the accident site of Guba Coal Mine in Longchang Township of Fuquan City, southwest China's Guizhou Province. A coal mine flooding happened here at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, when 41 miners were working underground. Eight miners were trapped in the coal mine. The rescue operation is under way. [Xinhua]
