Fishermen rescued after boat sinks off coast of Sanya

A fisherman affected by a boat sinking accident is transferred to a rescue ship at Sanya port in China's southernmost island province of Hainan, Oct. 24, 2012. A fishing boat sank in the sea off the east coast of Sanya on Tuesday night, and all the 16 fishermen were rescued. The fishing boat had planned to operate in waters off Sansha, a city created on July 24 this year on Yongxing Island to administer the Xisha, Zhongsha and Nansha islands and their surrounding waters in the South China Sea.
