Harbin-Dalian high-speed railway starts operation
A high-speed train is seen at the Changchun Railway Station in Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province, Dec. 1, 2012. The world's first high-speed railway in areas with extremely low temperature, which runs through three provinces in northeastern China, started operation on Saturday. The railway links Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang Province, and Dalian, a port city in Liaoning Province. [Xinhua]
