Chinese President Xi Jinping and first lady Peng Liyuan met with the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his wife Shiranthi Rajapaksa, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, on Tuesday. The two leaders agreed to establish strategic partnership between the two nations. Rajapaksa will meet with Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday, and leave for Xi'an to attend the 2013 Special Conference of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).
