Hundreds of demonstrators protest and try to storm the Bandeirantes Palace, the state government headquarters, as they demonstrate against rising public transport costs in Sao Paulo, Brazil, 17 June 2013. The protests against the expensive investments made by the Brazilian government for the FIFA World Cup and the FIFA Confederations Cup started last week in Sao Paulo. In the country's largest city, Sao Paolo, where the first demonstrations over bus fares broke out last week, the crowd reached around 50,000. [Photo/CFP]
