Stranded passengers negotiate with airline company staff to rearrange their air tickets at the Hongqiao International Airport in Shanghai last night. Thousands of passengers were left stranded at the city's Hongqiao and Pudong airports yesterday after more than 100 flights were canceled and numerous others delayed because of thunderstorms in east China. The two airports canceled all outbound domestic flights after 9pm, leaving at least 1,000 passengers stranded in Pudong alone.
