Hundreds of mourners take to the streets on August 3 to protest the death of a young soldier who died after allegedly being abused. It was the second mass protest since Hung Chung-chiu died of heat stroke on July 4 - apparently after being forced to exercise excessively as punishment for taking a smart phone onto base - just three days before the end of his compulsory yearlong military service. Organizers claimed 200,000 people joined the protest, while the government's estimate of the crowd size was 100,000. [Photo/CNS]
