China Coast Guard vessels patrol Diaoyu Islands

China's State Oceanic Administration on September 10 announced it would initiate vessel patrols in the Diaoyu Islands waters. The move is considered a bid from the Chinese government to put pressure on Japan, given that September 11 of this year marked the first anniversary of the Japanese government's so-called nationalization of the islands.
