The giant portrait of late Chairman Mao Zedong hung on the Tian'anmen Rostrum is replaced by a new one on September 28, 2013. It took about an hour for workers to replace the painting. Replacing Mao's fading portrait with a spruced-up one before China's National Day has become a regular practice. [Photo/people.com.cn]
