New patrol vessel joins marine surveillance fleet

A new patrol vessel for China's marine surveillance is berthed in Zhoushan, east China's Zhejiang Province, Jan. 14, 2014. The new vessel, Haijian 7018, joined the Donghai fleet under the China Marine Surveillance (CMS), a maritime law enforcement agency, on Tuesday. The 600-tonne-class ship will soon begin its patrol mission for law enforcement and rescue tasks. [Xinhua]
