Giant duty free shop to open in Hainan

Haitang Bay International Shopping Center, one of the world’s biggest duty free plazas, is slated to open for trial operation on September 11, 2014 in Sanya, Hainan Province. With the investment hitting 5 billion yuan (US$805.2 million), the 120,000square-meter plaza features a 45,000square-meter duty free shopping zone. [Photo/ Xinhua]
