World's largest Mani Stone Mound in Yushu

The Jiana Mani Stone Mound is located in Xinzhai Village of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the northwestern province of Qinghai, China. The Mound is believed to be the largest in the world, and pious believers keep piling up mani stones on it, making it "grow up" per year.[Photo taken by Liu Qiang / China.org.cn]
