The Oreolalax rhodostigmatus is an amphibian in the Megophryidae family. They are endemic to southwestern China. The species is mainly found in limestone caves 1,000 to 1,790 meters above sea level. The Oreolalax rhodostigmatus tadpole lives a prolonged life in the cave's darkness and develops a transparent skin. [Photo/Chinanews.com]
