Hongcun Village, known as "the village in the Chinese paintings," is located in the southwest of the Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province. It is a unique, buffalo-shaped ancient village, built in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), covering an area of about 30 hectares. [China.org.cn]
