Border on the Khunjerab Pass, symbol of China-Pakistan friendship road.  Khunjerab Pass on the China-Pakistan border is a strategic point on the Karakoram Highway, which links northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonoumous region with Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region. On the pass, the Khunjerab border inspection station handles meetings between Chinese and Pakistan sides and supervises general affairs on the border.
