Yang Shijun shows his friends how to use a flight simulator in Changchun, northeast China's Jilin Province. Yang downloaded the design from the Internet and spent more than one year building the plane at a cost of over 100,000 yuan (US$16,000). With a wingspan of 9.5 meters, the plane is five meters tall and 2.5 meters long. It has a maximum speed of 120 km per hour. Yang built the plane in memory of his late father who was a pilot for 29 years. The plane bears the number 3695, the flight ID of his late father. (Photo/xwh.cn) |
