Typhoon Linfa hits Shanwei City in Guangdong Province July 9, whipping up gale-force winds in the area. Torrential rains and strong winds are forecast for the next two days for Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Yunnan provinces as well as Taiwan.
