Editor's note: Small-scale armed clashes have continued to occur in South Sudan. An investigation team, composed of 80 officers and soldiers of the Chinese peacekeeping force and military observers, liaison officers and representatives from the human rights organization of the United Nations, recently went to the area on a special mission to verify the situation in order to better protect local civilians.
