Blast demolition is carried out on a 118-meter-high office building in Xi'an City on Nov. 15, the highest building ever blasted in China. The total floor area of the 27-story building, including a basement level, covered more than 37,000 square meters. It was finished in 1999, but was never put into use. [Xinhua]
