Bamboo carving exhibition in Suzhou

Editor's note: A bamboo carving exhibition is being held at the Arts and Crafts Museum in Suzhou of coastal Jiangsu Province from May 18 to June 12. The exhibition is meant to demonstrate traditional bamboo craftsmanship south of the Yangtze River.There are more than 200 artistic works on display from over 60 bamboo carvers from provinces of east China. Each of the works shows great originality and has its own distinctive features.
