Editor's note: A European glassware exhibition, named "Masterpieces of Glass from the Collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts of Prague," is being held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The exhibition is divided into eight parts, containing glass art from ancient times, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance period, the Baroque and Rococo periods, the first half of the 19th century, the second half of the 19th century, the Art Nouveau period in the early 20th century, and the period between WWI and WWII. It represents the history of glass art's birth, development and prosperity.
