A welder is welding at a shipyard in Yunyang County, Chongqing, on July 17. A heat wave has swept through the Three Gorges Reservoir recently, but welders in Heniu Fuxing Shipyard and Yuxin Shipping Limited are still working while enduring both the heat and the hot iron plates. These two shipyards are building thirteen 7,000-ton standardized container ships, which are planned to be launched by mid-August and put into services in the Yangtze River by the end of this year.
