Couples perform rituals during a mass wedding held at Confucius Temple in Taiyuan, north China's Shanxi Province, Aug. 9, 2016. A total of 22 couples were married here during Qixi Festival, or Chinese Valentine's Day, which falls on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month in the Chinese calendar. (Xinhua/Zhan Yan)
