Editor's note: Sept. 1 is the first day of school for most of China's middle and primary schools. With the long summer vacation ending, students have begun to return to school to start their new semester while teachers get ready to check the attendance of their students. In the following pictures, school buses sent by a company owned by the Qingdao Transportation Group take students living in several villages to the Zhaojiamiao Primary School for their registration. During the whole journey, the staff workers look after the children with their greatest care.
