The 8th Chinese cooking competition was held in Rotterdam, Holland on Monday, the first time it's ever been held in Europe.

About 200 participants from over 20 countries and regions came to show their cooking skills.

The competition rules that participants should make eight dishes, including a cold dish, a main course, desserts, and pastries, within 150 minutes.

Participants hail from the Chinese mainland, the USA, Holland, Belgium, South Korea, and other regions. The competition, held every four years, will last until Sept 21.
