Youth delegates visit Panda Base in Chengdu

Editor's note: Youth delegates from 46 countries in the Asia Pacific region visited Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (known as the Panda Base), in the southwestern province of Sichuan on the sidelines of the First Asia Pacific Youth Dialogue on Sept. 22.

The dialogue, initiated by UNESCO and supported by Perfect World, an online gaming giant, is envisioned as a dynamic and participatory event utilizing a combination of plenary lectures and workshops organized both thematically and sub-regionally, and fun activities to provide learning and networking opportunities for youth.
