Potala Palace painted with sugary coating

The outer walls of the Potala Palace in China's Tibet have just been painted. The palace is painted once a year with milk, honey, brown sugar and saffron added in the coating. Local Tibetan people volunteered to finish the work. [Photo: CRIENGLISH.com/Zhang Lei]
