Editor's note: The Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese Lunar New Year, is the most important festival for the Chinese people as it is an occasion for reunions with family and friends. Particularly, people hope to return home from work or study to have a reunion dinner with their family on the Lunar New Year's Eve. The extremely high traffic is also an annual test on China's transportation systems. In the following pictures, many migrant workers working in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, have already started their journey back home even though the festival falls on January 28 next year, which is still over a month away from now.
