Shanghai’s first solar-powered bus station has opened in the Pudong New Area. Solar panels covering 2,000 square meters have been installed at the West Gaoke Road station, turning its rooftop into a clean power station. The installation is expected to generate 200,000 kwh of electricity and the power will be used to charge electric buses at the station. [Photo/Xinhua]
