Editor's note: China's just-concluded Central Economic Work Conference proposed guiding the national economy towards higher quality, efficiency and sustainability in 2017. One example of this is the fact that 10 robots were recently imported and have gone into use on the assembly line of a new-energy automobile manufacturing company in Zunyi, Guizhou Province. According to the refined division of labor, these robots focus on the welding of electric vehicles, while the workers handle overall assembly. With the participation of these intelligent machines, the company's work efficiency and product standardization have greatly improved. Currently, the company's main welding line has achieved semi-automation while the storage, transport line and transmission lines have achieved full automation.
