Bullet train D6655, which runs from Beijing, capital of China, to Baoding City in Hebei Province, is ready to depart at the Beijing South Railway Station in Beijing July 6, 2017. Two bullet trains began to travel from Beijing to Xiong'an New Area on Thursday, a trip of about 80 minutes from Beijing South Station to Baoding Station. China announced plans to establish Xiong'an New Area in April. Located some 100 kilometers southwest of downtown Beijing, Xiong'an New Area will mostly cover Xiongxian, Rongcheng and Anxin counties in Hebei Province. (Xinhua/Xing Guangli)
